Question 1

How do I create a gift list?

Accepted Answer

It's very simple! Go to the homepage, give your list a title (e.g. 'Mary's Birthday'), optionally add a description and your first name, then click 'Create my list'. You can then add as many gifts as you want with descriptions and links.

Question 2

Do I need to create an account to use the service?

Accepted Answer

No, creating an account is not mandatory! You can create a list immediately and receive a sharing link. However, we recommend creating a free account to easily find all your lists and modify them at any time from any device.

Question 3

How many lists can I create?

Accepted Answer

There is no limit! You can create as many lists as you want. It's handy to have a list for each occasion: birthday, baby shower, etc.

Question 4

Can I modify my list after creating it?

Accepted Answer

Yes, you can modify your list at any time: add new gifts, edit descriptions, delete ideas... Note that if a gift has already been reserved, you won't see this information (to preserve the surprise), but the gift remains editable.

Question 5

What information can I add for each gift?

Accepted Answer

For each gift, you can specify: the gift name (required), a detailed description (size, color, preferred model, etc.), and one or more links to online stores. The more details you provide, the easier it will be for your loved ones to find the perfect gift!

Question 6

Can I add links to multiple stores for the same gift?

Accepted Answer

Yes! You can add multiple links for the same gift. This is useful for giving options to the person buying the gift, or to indicate different sizes/colors available on different sites.

Question 7

Is there a limit to the number of gifts per list?

Accepted Answer

No, there is no limit. You can add as many gifts as you want to your list. Don't hesitate to add lots of ideas to give your loved ones plenty of choices!

Question 8

How do I share my list with family and friends?

Accepted Answer

Once your list is created, you get a unique sharing link. You can copy it in one click and send it by email, text, WhatsApp, Messenger, or on social media. Your loved ones don't need an account to view your list.

Question 9

How does gift reservation work?

Accepted Answer

When someone wants to get you a gift from your list, they click 'Reserve', enter their name and email, then confirm via the link received by email. The gift is then marked as reserved for other visitors (but not for you, to keep the surprise!)

Question 10

Can I see who reserved my gifts?

Accepted Answer

No, and that's intentional! To preserve the surprise, you never see who reserved which gift on your list. You'll simply see your gift ideas, without knowing which ones have been chosen by your loved ones.

Question 11

Can a reservation be cancelled?

Accepted Answer

Yes, a reservation can be cancelled. The person who reserved must use the email they used for the reservation to cancel it. This prevents accidental or unauthorized cancellations.

Question 12

Why do I need to confirm my reservation by email?

Accepted Answer

Email confirmation ensures that it's really you who made the reservation and not someone else. This prevents accidental or malicious reservations and allows you to keep track of your reservations.

Question 13

Is my data protected?

Accepted Answer

Yes, we take the protection of your data very seriously. We never share your information with third parties and we use secure connections (HTTPS) to protect your data. Check our privacy policy for more details.

Question 14

Who can see my list?

Accepted Answer

Only people who have the sharing link can see your list. The link is not indexed by search engines. So you have full control over who has access to your list by choosing who you share the link with.
